Developer of sioyek here. I have recently made some changes to the build script which should make packaging for debian easier. I have already packaged it myself and it seems to be working well (I built it on Ubuntu 21.10 and tested it on a vanilla Ubuntu 22.04 Beta virtual machine, it might not run on older distros) . Here is the `debian` folder that I used:
