Well, even if intended as joke (and xteddy is all about fun) I'd take it
serious.

I did not intended to address you personally but "random readers".

And please do not forget to mention this activity in Debian Woman area.
I have heard rumors that there is some page where woman can describe
their activities in Debian.

Bug triaging squad seems to be a great effort - thanks for doing this.

However, in this specific case I need to admit that the patch does not
apply because it is against xteddy 2.0 and we have xteddy 2.2.  I just
forgot to report this to BTW.

I also need to admit that my focus has shifted *a* *lot* from my first
package that entered for Debian and was just a packaging excercise.  I
wonder if some newcommer might be interested in getting some training
in fixing this (as I said I can not reproduce the problem anyway).  The
package was moved to team maintenance later and it is in

  Debian Games Team 

so feel free to take over.
