Bug#777190: libmhash2: The mhash_end_m function fails call a custom allocator (upstream bug)
Package: libmhash2 Version: 0.9.9.9-7 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, The mhash_end_m API function does not operate as documented/intended. On line 408 of lib/mhash.c, instead of calling the proferred callback function, the internal allocator is called. Compare to line 520-522 of the same file, where the corresponding function mhash_hmac_end_m uses the proferred callback function. Expected behavior: mhash_end_m calls back to the program to allocate memory. Actual behavior: mhash_end_m allocates memory internally and the callback is never invoked. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.13-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages libmhash2 depends on: ii libc6 2.19-14 ii multiarch-support 2.19-14 libmhash2 recommends no packages. libmhash2 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
