Package: libcharon-extra-plugins
Version: 5.5.1-1

Bug#777190: libmhash2: The mhash_end_m function fails call a custom allocator (upstream bug)

2015-02-05 Thread bri
Package: libmhash2
Version: 0.9.9.9-7
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

The mhash_end_m API function does not operate as documented/intended.

On line 408 of lib/mhash.c, instead of calling the proferred callback
function, the internal allocator is called. Compare to line 520-522
of the same file, where the corresponding function mhash_hmac_end_m
uses the proferred callback function.

Expected behavior: mhash_end_m calls back to the program to allocate
memory.
Actual behavior: mhash_end_m allocates memory internally and the
callback is never invoked.
