Bug#922931: intel-mkl does not set alternatives for non-multiarch blas/lapack in Stretch
Mo-san, I met this matter personally and was able to fix it quickly in https://salsa.debian.org/cielavenir/intel-mkl/-/tree/stretch-bpo . 1. Extract http://deb.debian.org/debian/pool/non-free/i/intel-mkl/intel-mkl_2019.1.144.orig.tar.gz 2. Put https://salsa.debian.org/cielavenir/intel-mkl/-/tree/stretch-bpo/debian to the same directory as install.sh 3. Run debuild -uc -us Sincerely, ciel.
Bug#980068: cmake: Please update to version 3.19.3 before bullseye freeze
Dear Debian cmake maintainers, Now I saw libboost 1.74 is migrated to testing (bullseye). boost 1.74 is not compatible with cmake 3.18. As a released version, I do need cmake 3.19 (or later). ciel.
Bug#898391:
This command effectively fixed my issue (I know this is really funny. lol) sudo apt-get install {nvidia-driver,xserver-xorg-video-nvidia,nvidia-driver-libs-nonglvnd,nvidia-driver-libs-nonglvnd-i386,nvidia-kernel-dkms}/buster
Bug#898391:
Severity: grave Hi how is this issue going? I don't understand even why you need to add conflicts. If you care about glvnd so much, I even think you can migrate all existing installation to nonglvnd edition. I'm having segmentation fault on libgtk3 with glvnd edition, so nonglvnd is only my option. Anyway I have to update the severity to grave. Please consider to fix the issue soon.

Bug#730393: Installing this causes suggestion of 837 removals
Hi, I'm using Debian testing. Installing libpoppler43 and xpdf from Ubuntu saucy fixed the issue (temporary). Of course I know merging package is not recommended (although dpkg sees "dependency"). So I demand the devs to update package constantly. ciel. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Bug#712004: Barry's patch works like a charm
Hi, Somehow Apache 2.4 came to Debian jessie and my server's dependency is confused. Actually until yesterday I used http://opensource.wandisco.com/debian/ to avoid the ap_log_perror issue, but now I cannot use the repository since Debian wheezy is still Apache 2.2.x. I rebuilt Barry's patch and it works like a charm. (although I needed to (i) run "fakeroot debian/rules binary-arch" manually to relax svn-ruby (ii) patch libapache2-svn control to kill apache2.2-common dependency) If you want to take a look (i386 binary), see https://www.dropbox.com/s/uammywfed6d2rgj/debian/ Note: install libapache2-svn only if you are using Apache 2.4.x. Thank you very much for the patch and I hope it will be merged soon (I don't see the package on Ubuntu either) ciel. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#639300: please build against unixodbc-dev instead of libiodbc2-dev
Ubuntu already linked soprano against libvirtodbc0 rather than libiodbc2.Since it isn't libodbc1, do you think it is still bad? And why is Steve's patch dirty? Here on Debian wheezy, I needed to "fix" libmyodbc dependencies using ubuntu package, which is much more dirty since I cannot update soprano using apt anymore(no PPA)... -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#663027: Installing at-api2 prevents gdm3
Package: gdm3 Version: 3.0.4-4 Severity: important Yesterday I updated gnome-orca. It replaced at-spi with at-spi2. Today I restarted this computer then gdm3 freezes when I type keyboard (for inputting password). I consulted /var/log/gdm3/:0-greeter.log and saw: --- gnome-session[29907]: WARNING: Failed to start app: Unable to start application: Failed to execute child process "/usr/lib/at-spi/at-spi-registryd" (No such fil e or directory) ** (gnome-settings-daemon:29962): WARNING **: Connection failed, reconnecting... ** (gnome-settings-daemon:29962): WARNING **: Failed to connect context: Connection refused --- So I tried to re-installing at-spi (with removing gnome-orca) and gdm3 is working as before... Maybe /usr/share/gdm/autostart/LoginWindow/at-spi-registryd-wrapper.desktop stuff?
