just for information
as VBoxDRMClient remains running after unit stopped

Deactivated successfully.
mag 31 10:52:06 unstable systemd[1]: vboxadd-service.service: Unit

I set KillMode=control-group in vboxadd-service.service and it seems

Something on your system is using it without declaring a dependency.
This is not really an issue, as it's a tmpfs, so it will just be
dropped later.

I know, but I do not like red [Failed] on shutdown ;)
Thanks.

Bug#1043022: udisks2: After 2.10 update problem with usb vfat external disk

2023-08-04 Thread luca.pedrielli

Package: udisks2
Version: 2.10.0-5
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,
after 2.10 update, when I plug in my vfat usb disk, a "never ending"
fsck.vfat

process starts.
this prevents plasma-kde from working properly.
at the end of fsck the disk is not listed in usb devices and dolphin
restarts

fsck.vfat
no problem with 2.9 version, the disc is recognized correctly.

Hi!
Can you please report this against PackageKit-Qt so we have a reference there?
It's an odd bug for sure, the amount of changes for the new QPK was
quite small and overall the library seems to be working fine. I wonder
whether this is a case of Discover not having adjusted to handle
plural signals from PK properly.

Not for me, but your mention of a "1.10 version" sounds interesting.
Apparently there's such a version in upstream git, but not yet tagged.

I think, let's wait a bit to see whether the version is not yet
finalized or it's a case of a missing tag.

Ok and thanks for the reply.

Hi Emilio,

no in my case |read_kde_browser()|doesn't returns an empty string, but
"/usr/bin/firefox" as you can see in the attached log.

the problem is that bash works with x"${browser:0:1}" and dash doesn't. Debian
set /bin/sh as /bin/dash.

the shabang of**xdg-settings is #!/bin/sh

Ok, I see. Can you open an issue in the upstream tracker at [1]?
