Bug#664981: firmware-linux-nonfree: (radeon cedar) Can't assign ICC profiles with Gnome Color Manager

2012-05-23 Thread man-d67

Hi,

So far I uninstall firmware-linux-nonfree package and then assign my ICC
color profiles. Finally I install the firmware-linux-nonfree package
again. That works for me.

With Firmware-linux-nonfree installed, I'm not able to use an important
fonctionnality of color management in general and Gnome Color Management
in particular that is assigning ICC color profiles to devices.

I'm not sure: should this bug be assigned to Gnome-color-manager or
severity set to critical (makes unrelated software on the system break)?

Thanks,

Bug#670686: xchat: If highlighted and xchat not in focus got an ambiguous message to install libnotify but it is installed

2012-04-27 Thread man-d67

Package: xchat
Version: 2.8.8-5
Severity: normal

Hi

If an IRC user is sending a message containing my nickname and xchat is
not in focus at that moment I get the following message when returning
to xchat: can't find ' notify-send ' to open a notify window. Please
install libnotify'.
This message is ambiguous because the package libnotify is installed and
currently it's libnotify4.

Here's a picture from this message but it's french translated:
http://cjoint.com/?0DCepMs0PEC

Xchat 2.8.8-5 recommands libnotify1 or libnotify-bin. I'm going to
install libnotify-bin.

Thank you.

Bug#655465: No thumbnails created in Gnome 3.2.1

2012-04-08 Thread man-d67

Hello,

Same situation here. The gnome-xcf-thumbnailer package doesn't work. No
XCF thumbnails are created.

I deleted the .thumbnails folder in my /home with no positive result.

Testing adamj's fix. Thank you.
