Bug#707703: mercurial: Translation missing for yes/no question, but requires translated input from user
Package: mercurial Version: 2.2.2-3 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer, During a merge, it is possible for mercurial to launch an external tool to do the merge. If the results of the merge are discarded, mercurial will ask the user if the merge was successful (y/n). However, it will only accept translated user input (under de-DE, this is j/n). The de.po file appears to be untranslated in the .po file from latest mercurial stable repo: http://selenic.com/hg/file/12459bfa4b59/i18n/de.po 8--- #, python-format msgid was merge of '%s' successful (yn)? msgstr #, python-format msgid output file %s appears unchanged\n was merge successful (yn)? msgstr 8--- Either translating this string, or accepting english input would be the right thing to do here, I guess. I am not able to provide a proper translation myself, unfortunately. (something like Datei %s war nicht geändert - war zussammenfügung erfolgreich? (j/n)). Bug#665495: pavucontrol: Pavucontrol does not check return value of connect_to_pulse
Package: pavucontrol Version: 0.99.2-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, pulseaudio is running fine on my system, howver for some reason, the connect_to_pulse function in pavucontrol.cc fails; specifically the pa_connect_context call. This causes connect_to_pulse to return false to the main loop. However, the main loop does not check the return value of connect_to_pulse. Either an exception must be generated somewhere (which apparently is not happening inside pa_connect_context, this would make sense as the main loop is catching a Glib::OptionError exception -- nothing else), or the return value must be checked. If not checking the return value, it may make sense to change the function from a boolean to a void function. Either way, the program, as it stands simply sits there displaying Establishing connection to PulseAudio. Please wait..., and does nothing, as the context call fails. An error message should be generated. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.39-2-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages pavucontrol depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 2.2.0-2 ii libatkmm-1.6-1 2.22.6-1 ii libc62.13-26 ii libcairo-gobject21.10.2-6.2 ii libcairo21.10.2-6.2 ii libcairomm-1.0-1 1.10.0-1 ii libcanberra-gtk3-0 0.28-3 ii libcanberra0 0.28-3 ii libfontconfig1 2.8.0-3.1 ii libfreetype6 2.4.8-1 ii libgcc1 1:4.6.2-12 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.24.1-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.30.2-6 ii libglibmm-2.4-1c2a 2.30.0-2 ii libgtk-3-0 3.2.3-1 ii libgtkmm-3.0-1 3.2.0-1 ii libpango1.0-01.29.4-2 ii libpangomm-1.4-1 2.28.4-1 ii libpulse-mainloop-glib0 1.1-3 ii libpulse01.1-3 ii libsigc++-2.0-0c2a 2.2.9-1.1 ii libstdc++6 4.6.2-12 pavucontrol recommends no packages. pavucontrol suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#640432: libqhull: Qhull requires __POWERPC__ to be defined to a value
Package: libqhull5 Version: 2009.1-1 Severity: normal File: libqhull I have been packaging a program that uses wx and qhull simultaneously. My package built under all (nonBSD) arches except powerpc. https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=3depictarch=powerpcver=0.0.7-1stamp=1313966886 The problem occurs when you include qhull after including wx: /usr/include/qhull/qhull.h:36:30: error: operator '' has no right operand After a little digging around, I found the following hack works around the problem: //QHull library +//Build fix for qhull ; wx defines powerpc without +//assigning a value, causing build fail on powerpc +#ifdef __POWERPC__ + #pragma push_macro(__POWERPC__) + #define __POWERPC__ 1 +#endif extern C { #include qhull/qhull_a.h } +#ifdef __POWERPC__ + #pragma pop_macro(__POWERPC__) +#endif The problem comes when you get to line 36 of /usr/include/qhull/qhull.h : #if __MWERKS__ __POWERPC__ which I think should be: #if defined(__MWEKS__) defined(__POWERPC__) I don't think wx is faultless here, but can this be patched? -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.1 APT prefers testing-proposed-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE, LC_CTYPE=de_DE (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libqhull5 depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-10 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib libqhull5 recommends no packages. libqhull5 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
