Bug#665746: fvwmbuttons seriously eat up the memory

2012-03-25 Thread yelloprotoss
Package: fvwm
Version: 1:2.5.30.ds-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

I am using fvwm since many years, and I would like to point out that
fvwmbuttons shall really be rewritten or something has to be made.

Fvwmbuttons seriously eat up the memory. If for instance I start one or 2
fvwmbuttons (two very basic and simple fvwmbuttons conf), then it gets so much
memory involved and also a bit the cpu.

The most important is that it definitely requires too much memory. Fvwm shall
not be or become kde. It would be welcome if this fvwmbutton could be slightly
improved in terms of memory using.

Thanks

Fvwm Rocks / Openbox rocks !!
Yours sincerely,
Piotr

Bug#665785: abiword: one cannot copy/paste and type german chars

2012-03-25 Thread yelloprotoss
Package: abiword
Version: 2.8.2-2.1
Severity: important

Hi,

If you copy and paste the german text from firefox into abiword (empty
document), it shall work.
and not give stranger chars.

ä ü typed on keyboard shall as well work if it is possible.

This makes impossible to type a document with abiword (without pain to fix it)

Just to let you know

Sincerly,

Bug#664147: wishlist: python to be removed

2012-03-15 Thread yelloprotoss
Package: reportbug
Version: 4.12.6
Severity: wishlist

Hi, Python is cool , but I was considering that reportbug is like apt-get or
lsb-release, or important package.

Could it thus be made into apt-get or made much lighter, i.e. being recoded in
C and to remove python from the required dependencies totally.

Thank you

Have a great day
