Package: mate-power-manager Version: 1.24.2-1 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: qazwsx...@gmx.net
Dear Maintainer, This bug made me smile. It's clearly a translation error, confusing the term "state" (meaning condition) with "state" (meaning political subunit of a country) and then translating it into the British English equivalent. * What led up to the situation? Invoking mate-power-statistics from the battery icon in the system tray * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Invoking mate-power-statistics from the battery icon in the system tray * What was the outcome of this action? The charging state attribute on the details tab of the battery properties is labelled "County" * What outcome did you expect instead? That the charging state attribute is labelled "State", even in British English. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers stable-security APT policy: (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-8-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages mate-power-manager depends on: ii dbus-user-session [default-dbus-session-bus] 1.12.20-2 ii dbus-x11 [dbus-session-bus] 1.12.20-2 ii libc6 2.31-9 ii libcairo2 1.16.0-5 ii libcanberra-gtk3-0 0.30-7 ii libcanberra0 0.30-7 ii libdbus-1-3 1.12.20-2 ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.110-6 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.40.2-2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.66.7-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.24.24-1 ii libmate-panel-applet-4-1 1.24.1-1 ii libnotify4 0.7.9-3 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.46.2-3 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.46.2-3 ii libupower-glib3 0.99.11-2 ii libx11-6 2:1.7.0-2 ii libxext6 2:1.3.3-1.1 ii libxrandr2 2:1.5.1-1 ii mate-notification-daemon [notification-daemon] 1.24.1-1 ii mate-power-manager-common 1.24.2-1 ii notification-daemon 3.20.0-4 ii policykit-1 0.105-30 ii systemd 247.3-1 ii upower 0.99.11-2 mate-power-manager recommends no packages.
