Bug#1010165: fixed in grub-customizer 5.2.1-1

2022-07-12 Thread 肖盛文

Hi,

grub-customizer is a GUI software, It's  to provide convenience to
our user who didn't know command line.

This software main modify /boot/grub/grub.cfg, this file is produced by
grub-mkconfig command,

but it is not belong to the grub-common package, this file is owner by
end user.

User has right to modify grub.cfg, they may use vi or use grub-customizer.

This bug is of course still valid. Any configuration needs to be done
by the grub package itself and not by hacky unendorsed third party
hacks.

It's good the upgrade bug is fixed, but this still does not belong
in Debian IMO.

Regards.
