Hi,

thanks for the email. The main problem here is that I had Berkeley DB Team 
**muted** and I didn’t
know about that, so I was not receiving any emails from BTS about db5.3 (and 
db-defaults).

I have now filled RFA for all the Debian Berkeley DB Team packages.

That would be interesting. Ondřej, I guess you are the only Berkeley DB Team 
member.
