Hah! I need to test this, but this *may* just be related to removing
the dip1008 flag from the mir-core flags list entirely - it may be
needed after all.
Or this is completely unrelated to that and a completely different bug
- unfortunately, I can only really dive into this at the weekend...

After fixing up stdx-allocator build-deps so that they're installable,
stdx-allocator fails to build from source due to a test failure:
