I haven't been able to reproduce this issue, by installing
libapache2-mod-dnssd 0.6-3.2 from bookworm and then upgrading to the
newer version...

piuparts testing also worked fine:

I even tried installing 0.6-3.2, then removing these files and then
upgrading, but the upgrade went fine there too

Is there anything else in your configuration that might be unusual?

There is a slight difference in the postinst script that the newer
version of dh_apache2 adds using "exit 1" (0.6-3.3) instead of "exit $?"
(0.6-3.2)...
