Bug#1031978: debian-reference-fr: wrong position for tables in french PDF version

thanks

There is no simple way to change table placement in PDF for debian-reference
(DR). I think the mentioned table is in the correct position in HTML. Latex
tool chain relocate it to appropriate position considering the PDF is page
based.

I understand this may be uncomfortable for you but this is mostly preference
issue. So this is wishlist bug. Also this happens outside of my control, I
mark this as wontfix.

Best regards,

Osamu

Bug#1031978: debian-reference-fr: wrong position for tables in french PDF version

2023-02-26 Thread Guillonneau Jean-Paul
Package: debian-reference-fr
Version: 2.100
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

in the french PDF version, some tables are not in their logical place.
For example, the table 11.13 is not immediately after the paragraph 11.3.4,
but after the beginning of the section 11.4.
In the HTML and text french versions, they are are in their logical place.

Regards.
