Oops, sorry, it is not the apper bug and it is the packagekit-qt bug that was 
already fixed. I reported a wrong bug, now you can close it. I see you are also 
the packagekit-qt maintainer. Thanks for your work!

What kind of crash are you talking about? Can you give more details,
e.g. a bug report link?
I also can not see any new release of Apper...
