For reference, this patch was merged into mainline JDK in
https://github.com/openjdk/jdk/pull/17628, and will be part of the upcoming JDK
23 release. (The patch that was merged there is basically the same as in
https://salsa.debian.org/openjdk-team/openjdk/-/blob/2aebf9c2fb202cf3648cbeda9d96d8b29650e79f/debian/patches/8307977-proposed.diff,
but with some comments modified).

Thanks for incorporating this fix into openjdk-11, appreciated Matthias. AFAIK,
this should be applicable to openjdk-17-jdk as-is as well. I looked in the
changelog at https://packages.debian.org/sid/openjdk-17-jdk and couldn't see it
mentioned there (searched for JDK-8307977 and 1034600).
Do you want me to create a new bug for this or just reopen+reassign this bug to
src:openjdk-17? (feel free to just reassign it yourself if you want to)
