Latest upstream version of MariaDB Connector Java is 3.3.3.
Current version in Debian is 2.7.6-1.

Do you have any plans to import the latest version to Debian?

Dear Maintainer,

Please consider upgrading the MariaDB Java connector to the 3.0 series in 
bookworm.
For OpenJDK 17 (the default JVM in bookworm) the 3.0 series is the recommended 
version:
