The exim CLI tool has a number of options for selecting particular messages for {,re-}delivery attempts; but in all cases it will retry all undelivered recipients of those messages. It would be nice to be able to specify a subset of undelivered recipients to retry - e.g. "attempt delivery of message XX-YY-ZZ to reciepient f...@bar.com". I sometimes find certain large mail providers get unhappy with messages that contain a number of their recipients on the same mail, and being able to just try to deliver to one or two of them at once can help unwedge stuck mails...
