Removal hint added for testing.

Why is the rebuild of libosmo-abis required?

https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/ortp

migrating libortp16/1:5.2.0-2/amd64 to testing makes
libosmotrau2/1.3.0-2+b1/amd64 uninstallable

linphone-stack upstream does not really support mixing the branches of
the various libraries, so we don't use symbols and generate shlis
dependencies like this

libortp16 (>= 1:5.1.64), libortp16 (<< 1:5.2.0)

and for the new version of libortp

libortp16 (>= 1:5.2.0-1), libortp16 (<< 1:5.3.0-1)

BTW, the RM bug for src:trx is Bug#1042534

Hi,

I would like to upload a new release of the linphone-stack to unstable.

Please go ahead.

Stack has been uploaded and built on almost all architectures (except
for riscv64)

We need a rebuild of src:libosmo-abis against the new version of libortp
and trx will be removed, see Bug#1026042

Bug#1041349: transition: linphone-stack

2023-07-17 Thread Bernhard Schmidt
Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
User: release.debian@packages.debian.org
Usertags: transition

Hi,

I would like to upload a new release of the linphone-stack to unstable.

It consists of a number of packages that have been staged in experimental

  bctoolbox
  belr
  bcmatroska2
  bzrtp
  ortp
  belcard
  belle-sip
  lime
  mediastreamer2
  linphone
  linphone-desktop

The only external hit will be on src:trx which is not compatible with the new
license. The maintainer has agreed for it to be removed in #1026042. Other than
that the linphone stack is self-contained these days.

It will fix two RC bugs in unstable (ftbfs with GCC-13).

Automatic transition trackers for some of the libraries involved are
