Finally the package has left the NEW queue - now you can install it,
but please notice that you'll need to install it from
bullseye-backports-sloppy. (Please see "The Old-stable-sloppy Suite" on
https://backports.debian.org/Instructions/#index4h2 )

The packages are now in the debian backports NEW queue, so you should
be able to get them soon.

Bug#1042572: claws-mail: can't update claws-mail to v4.1.1 from bullseye-backports

2023-10-29 Thread Andreas Rönnquist

I have now uploaded updated backported packages to mentors, that need
sponsoring to get into Debian (I am currently without a gpg-key, so I
need sponsoring to upload packages).

I have uploaded both an updated bullseye (11) version and a new
backport for Debian 12, to provide an upgrade path.

(I have pushed the branches to the salsa, and will tag the releases
when they enter Debian).

Bug#1042572: claws-mail: can't update claws-mail to v4.1.1 from bullseye-backports

2023-07-30 Thread no2spam
Package: claws-mail
Version: 4.1.1-2~bpo11+1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

I'm using claws-mail on Debian Bullseye. Update fails because of a
plugin version mismatch in bullseye-backports repository:

 * claws-mail-bsfilter-plugin is still on version 4.1.0-2~bpo11+1
 * claws-mail-pgpcore is missing (dependency of claws-mail-pgpinline
   package)

Could you upload claws-mail-bsfilter-plugin (v4.1.1 amd64) to the
bullseye-backports repository? That should fix it.

Thanks
