Thanks a lot! We don't +1 because this is not twitter/facebook :-) but I have just made a comment to explain why the update is important. Thanks.

If I can be of any help, please say so. This bug report was about Bookworm, but sure, we can do Bullseye as well. WIP at https://salsa.debian.org/otto/galera/-/commits/debian/bullseye If you want to help, you can file a MR on Salsa at any time or review existing open MRs. No need to do NMUs - the actual upload is not the work, but doing the commits and filing the stable-update bug reports to release manager.

Galera patch releases have been accepted as stable updates before. That is also what users expect. Thanks for reminding about this though, I yad forgotten about it. Will do it next weekend.

Hi. Can you elaborate on that? Release managers do not usually allow new upstream releases in stable. Is this something for which you have already an ok from them? I'm trying to ensure that all packages in stable build from source in stable, so this kind of "will be fixed eventually" is not good enough in my opinion. Thanks.

I found about this bug during a rebuild of all packages in bookworm. Could you please fix this in bookworm as well? Packages in stable must build in stable. (I would be willing to help if required). Thanks.
