Package: dns-root-data
Version: 2023010101
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: meier+debian...@init7.net
Dear Maintainer,
The IPs (v4 and v6) of b-root-servers.net, operated by University of Southern
California,
will change on 2023-11-27. The new IPs are in the range of LACNIC and thus in a
different
RPKI TAL. This is to increase redundancy in case of a problem in the TAL of a
RIR. The
old IPs should continue to work for another year.
I think it would be important if Debian would update the dns-root-data package
for all
supported releases and publish it in a point release.
I can create a patch, but I don't know if that makes sense. I assume you are
copying the
file as a whole from internic.net.
