It does not, unfortunately. I just tried building the package using the latest Dub version, and the actual blocking issue, which is https://github.com/dlang/dub/issues/2577, still exists. I noticed there is a new version committed to salsa but it does not build and this seems unfixed upstream as well. I however did find a (unmerged) PR that fixes it: https://github.com/dlang/dub/pull/2623 IMHO dub should be updated to latest version once those rough edges are sorted out.
