Martin Michlmayr [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: Do you think you'll be able to take a look at this soon? gccchecker is now the only package in Debian [1] which required the old libgd-gif which has been orphaned for over 2.5 years. libgd-gif was a fork of libgd v1 to add GIF support; libgd 2 has GIF support again (since the patent expired) and is supported upstream. I'd really like to get libgd-gif removed from the archive soon so it would be great it you could take a look at this. Oh. Thanks for the reminder. I think that, in fact, it might be time to remove gccchecker entirely. valgrind is an easier-to-use replacement that works at least as well in practice.
