I'd like to, but I get the following (useless) error message on
startup:
,
| The Application "Dasher" has quit unexpectedly.
`

I did an "rm -rf .dasher", I get the same crash. Maybe related to
#312607 (although I'm using Metacity).

On another account (guest account, reset to almost-scratch @reboot),
dasher neither crashes nor eats the keymap. Yay. In other words: bug
seems fixed (for me at least).

Hi,

 This is a followup for Debian bug :
 could you please try with a newer dasher (3.2.17 or 3.2.18)?

   Thanks,

I can confirmed this using a Danish keyboard and KDE desktop: My AltGr
does not work after dasher. I am quiting dasher correctly.

I do not need to restart X to get the keyboard working again: I go into
Keyboard of GNOME control center and reload the "keyboard model" (Generic
104-key PC)

  I'm using either File -> Quit or C-q.  I get $? == 0 in either case.
