Following up to myself, I noticed that simply copying the debian
subdir from the current Debian revision into the newest upstream
release will result in debdiff clean packages, so I take the liberty
of tagging this bug patch. However, the shlibs file needs to be
adjusted to actually refer to libdvdnav4 in both the current and any
future packaging!
Please tell whether you intend to work on this some day. If I won't
hear from you within a reasonable timeframe I'm afraid I have to
consider you MIA, given that your packages currently seem to be
generally unmaintained...
