Package: grub Version: all After installing with Sarge-Netinst-RC2(i386) all i get upon first reboot is GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB GRUB (ad infinitum)
I tried with the linux and linux26 kernels too. Same. Slackware 10.1 successfully installs. So the error might be in: a) The Debian installer's partitioner b) The fact that it DOES NOT REBOOT AFTER MODIFYING THE PARTITION TABLE, THUS NOT LETTING LINUX REREAD IT! I wonder if ANYONE can install Debian :( Please read the manpage and fdisk and make the installer reboot after modifying the partition table (and before formatting the new partitions, etc). THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT. :\ Thanks... -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
