Eric, this makes the package uninstallable and unremovable, so i am upping the
severity.

I had two problems with it, it tried to do stuff with /var/cache/approx, while
i had it configured in my approx.conf to use another dir, and removing failed
because of the missing approx user.

Also, i am wondering if we could not simply reuse the /var/cache/apt archive.

This should be fixed in the version I last committed to svn, if you
can please upload it.  Thanks.
