 Hi,

Since version 9.006 of kernel-package it supports building of the separate

may contain the same files, and their location is quite strictly dictated
by the policy, the only feasible solution in this situation is to allow
only one kernel-manual/linux-manual package installed at a time.

I have committed the changes to build linux-manual-2.6.13 along with
linux-doc-2.6.13 to svn, so starting with these packages this problem
 should not arise anymore.

I have added the following changelog entry to SVN to reflect this.

[ Jurij Smakov, Simon Horman ]
* Ensure that only one kernel-manual/linux-manual package can
be installed at a time to avoid file conflicts. (closes: #320042)

N.B: I only added my name as it felt weird writing something as you.
Remove at will.

Hi,

Since version 9.006 of kernel-package it supports building of the separate

may contain the same files, and their location is quite strictly dictated

2005-08-07 Thread Jurij Smakov

Hi Marcin,

Thanks for your report. The problems with overlapping files are due to
the patch applied to fix bug #308562 in kernel-package. We are currently
working on a solution with kernel-package maintainer.

Best regards,
