Package: perl-suid Severity: wishlist Hi,
perl-suid package description says: Usage of this program is now strongly deprecated upstream and support (along with this package) will probably be removed in 5.10. I need to run a perl script as root, but don't know what to use instead of perl-suid (I don't want to use a deprecated feature that will be removed). Please add some information in description telling the user what should be used instead of perl-suid, or a link to some URL explaining why perl-suid is deprecated and which are the alternatives.
