I will try with the version in unstable and grab the other packages from experimental (I'm always using testing, BTW, except for tetex), test it and close the bug, if everything works. Bug#321361: tetex-base: upgrade from 3.0-4 to 3.0-6 breaks while trying to find update-language
Package: tetex-base Version: 3.0-6 Severity: normal I was running tetex 3.0-4 that I grabbed from experimental and it worked fine. I saw that Frank Küster had tetex 3.0-6 for sarge on his page at p.d.o and I tried to use that to upgrade the version that I have here to help debug the packages, but after running apt-get dist-upgrade, the installation of tetex-base is broken. The problem seems to be in tetex-base.postinst, where a call to update-language is made. Sorry, I didn't notice that the various packages had different versions (like 3.0-{4,5,6}). The log speaks for itself, though. I am, BTW, now subscribed to d-t-m and I intend to follow the releases more closely, so that I may, perhaps, become a DD in the future. Thanks and sorry for the confusion, Rogério. -- Rogério Brito : [EMAIL PROTECTED] : http://www.ime.usp.br/~rbrito Homepage of the algorithms package : http://algorithms.berlios.de Homepage on freshmeat: http://freshmeat.net/projects/algorithms/
