Sorry, I forgot to send news to the bug...
Since I upgraded to gnome from unstable about one month ago the bug was
fixed, but I do not know if this happened because of the upgrade or
something else I did.

(OTOH, now I get a message like there is already a panel active after
every login, and do not understand why. gnome-session-properties is not
helping.)

Bug#321577: does not work at all

2005-08-06 Thread Frederic Peters
reassing 321577 python-gnome2-extras
thanks

Hello Sebastien,

I can't reproduce the reported bug locally but in the end it looks
like a pygtkspell bug:

   File /usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/gnomeblog/blog_poster.py, line 41,
 in __init__
 gtkspell.Spell(self.blogEntry)
SystemError: NULL result without error in PyObject_Call
 [Exit 1]

I had a quick look to python-gnome2-extras sources but can't point
anything now.

Versions of packages gnome-blog depends on:
 ii gconf22.10.1-1 GNOME configuration database
 syste
 ii python2.3.5-2An interactive high-level
 object-o
ii python-gnome2 2.10.0-2 Python bindings for the GNOME
 desk
ii python-gnome2-extras 2.10.0-4 Python bindings for the GNOME
 desk

As for gnome-blog, I added a workaround in 0.8-4 (being uploaded).

Regards,

Frederic
