It has been included in the 1.5.2 development version of SquirrelMail, so
we can expect it to arrive in Debian in some time in the future when that
branch has stabilized.

Right, in this case it is not a bug, but anything that I would suggest
would become a feature request! The only thing that springs to my mind
would be the possibility, while viewing the message, to choose another
displayable part, so that instead of going and changing the options
just so that it can be possible to see a message, there would be the
possibilty of seeing the other parts right there on the interface. Of
course, that if one the other parts is something non browser displayable
(like .tar.gz file or something like that) then the option shouldn't
 exist!

There's a plugin on the upstream website (www.squirrelmail.org) that
does just that (it's called View as HTML). I think this would be a
really good candidate to be included in the standard distribution, I've
forwarded that to the upstream developers and will discuss it there.
However, that will probably not happen in our stable branch.

Thanks for everything and sorry to bother you with such a stupid
 problem. Once again thank you

No problem, if the interface can be confusing that should be addressed
as well.

thanks,

I've checked this out. The message displays just fine with me in
SquirrelMail (including the version you're using). What might be the
problem here, is that while this message is multipart, it doesn't have
'real' attachments; it has a big image that is referenced from within
the mail itself (cid: url). That means that if you view the HTML
version, the mail looks perfectly fine, and if you don't view the HTML
version, you get an empty mail because the mail doesn't provide text
 content.

I see.

If you set SquirrelMail (under display preferences) to show the HTML
version by default, you'll see the mail just fine.

Right!

Hence, I don't regard this as a SquirrelMail bug. If you do, please tell
me what behaviour you would expect from SquirrelMail that you're not
 currently seeing now.

Hello Mário,

Thank you for your report.

Some of our users have been complaining that certain messages that go
through mailman with attachments don't show correctly, namely, it is not
possible to see/download the attachments, altough it is possible to
check that they are there using the view message option.

If necessary i can send a message that causes this to happen

Please do.
