Bug#328881: xlibmesa-dri: 3d acceleration stopped working when upgrading to x.org (radeon 9200 Mobile)

I made it point to the file of the current xlibmesa-gl and it all works again. What puzzles me is that it was xlibmesa-gl the one who made the link to the old file. In order to be sure about that I deleted the link and reinstalled xlibmesa-gl. After that the link pointed again to the old file. Is this expected behaviour? Could you please expand the old file? Do you mean that it points to /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1.2.seg instead of the right file? Please excuse me. I was reading old mail and I did not see the response that Michel gave to you. Also, this bug is already closed. Yes, ldconfig interprets .seg as a patchlevel, so it considers libGL.so.1.2.seg newer than libGL.so.1.2. -- Earthling Michel Dänzer | Debian (powerpc), X and DRI developer Libre software enthusiast| http://svcs.affero.net/rm.php?r=daenzer
