Careful, similar symptoms doesn't necessarily mean it's the same
problem.

Yes maybe. I put it here because:
a) I did not know where it properly belongs.
b) It makes it easier for us (the people working on the graphical
   installer) to track.

Reassigning bugs is easy. If you know where it really belongs, feel free
to do so.

I'm aware of that. Anyway, I mixed up the bug numbers somehow. My message
should have gone to #cdebconf-gtk, not this bug.
Sorry for the noise here.

Bug#338191: d-i gtk installer on PowerPC, wrong colors displayed

2005-11-08 Thread Jack Malmostoso
Package: install
Severity: minor

Hello,
I have tried the d-i gtk installer on an iBook G4 as suggested in this
powerpc list message:

http://lists.debian.org/debian-powerpc/2005/11/msg00109.html

As reported in the thread, looks like these minor problems are known, but
there are no bugs filed against this behaviour, so here it is one.

You can see some horrible pictures here:

Image017 through 20.

Colors in the Debian logo are messed up, and the cursor is surrounded by a
rectangle.
