Hi Mathieu, On Mon, Jan 02, 2006 at 02:28:08PM -0500, Mathieu Petit-Clair wrote: Ming Hua a écrit : I forgot to emphasize that #342198 is most likely related to libaspell15 (the previous comment was sent to both #323216 and #342198). Disable spell checking in gaim or rebuild libaspell15 with the new g++ is worth trying. See bug #343060 for more details. Spell checking is (and was) disabled in gaim, but I still have the problem.. Could it be a different gaim extension that's causing the problem? I'll try to recompile libaspell15 later. libaspell15 0.60.4-2 is recompiled with the new g++ and is in unstable now. Bug#342198: gaim crashes while using scim as gtk-im-module
reassign 342198 scim-gtk2-immodule 1.4.2-1 thanks I can reproduce this bug. As scim just finished the libstdc++ allocator ABI transition, I suspect the reason of the crash is something in gaim is using old C++ ABI. Will investigate further. Thanks for reporting. Bug#342198: This problem may be due to upgrade of scim
Hi, I re-checked the log of my system. At last, I find there is an upgrade of scim (especially, scim-pinyin). After I downgrade all these scim packages, this problem is solved (1.4.2-1 to 1.4.1-1). So, I believe this may be due to the new versions of scim packages. Sorry for this wrong bug report to gaim. Thank you very much. -- Hongzheng Wang
