I have a Samsung SyncMaster 793DF monitor attached to a Trident 9388 onboard
videocard. The server config script doesn't generate the correct modelines,
which restricts the resolution to 800x600.
I booted Knoppix Live CD which generated the correct modelines and X achieved
1024x768 resolution, as expected.
Current /etc/X11/xorg.conf is Knoppix's XF86Config-4 with the identifiers and
keyboard tweaked; the modelines are untouched.
