It does already, so I wonder where your problem came from. Which version
of kernel and openafs-modules-source have been involved?

Eduard.

Bug#348815: can module-assistant use the same compiler the pre-built kernel was built with?

2006-01-18 Thread Jayen Ashar
Package: module-assistant
Version: 0.10.2
Severity: wishlist

I was unable to build the openafs-modules package from openafs-modules-source
until Russ Allbery (openafs-modules-source package co-maintainer) pointed out I
need to set CC so that it will build with the same compiler that the kernel was
built from. Can module-assistant automatically use the same version of the
same compiler, if it available on the system?

thanks,
jayen
