Package: linux-source
Severity: wishlist
Would it be possible to apply the patch described on
http://thinkwiki.org/wiki/Problem_with_high_power_drain_in_ACPI_sleep and
http://bugme.osdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3022 to
the Debian kernel package? This patch drastically lowers power consumption for
many Thinkpad models using ACPI suspend
(without the patch ACPI suspend is mostly unusable).
FC already applies the patch and I've also been using it successfully on
different Thinkpad models for several months
now.
Thanks,
Chris.
