Hello Julien, I've just learned that the bug which resulted in aptitude being outdated in testing has been resolved. Could you perhaps try again using tomorrow's netinst image? TIA, Frans Pop pgpvU32PKwtRi.pgp Description: PGP signature

The beta2 release of Debian Installer will use the 2.6.15 kernel and not 2.6.14. We are currently waiting for hppa porters to update the kernel packages used for d-i to 2.6.15. If you could test whether this problem still exists if you install the 2.6.15 kernel from unstable on an installed system, that would be great. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Thanks for testing again as this may be a release blocker for the Beta2 release of the installer. Reason is that latest aptitude is not available for hppa: aptitude0.4.1-1 Dep-Wait (libcppunit-1.10-2c2a) cppunit 1.10.2-8Maybe-Failed This build failure is reported in: http://bugs.debian.org/341675 and looks to be a very structural issue for hppa. So, this needs to be resolved before hppa will be installable again. Looks like the release managers are currently ignoring hppa because of this. I have added this issue to our page listing current issues in daily D-I builds: http://wiki.debian.org/DebianInstallerToday Cheers, FJP -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
