This was fixed in current pkg-java CVS and will be included in the next
upload of eclipse (3.1.2-1). Thanks for reporting this bug.

Hi,

/usr/share/applications/eclipse.desktop seems to be missing, so
there isn't any entry in KDE Application;Development section.
(the Debian menu entry is there).

I looked everywhere but cannot find it.
