Hi,

Please use gettext-based debconf templates to allow translations, as
recommended by the developers-reference (section 6.5.2.2). See
po-debconf(7). There is also a lintian warning:
  W: powstatd source: not-using-po-debconf
If you need additional help to do this switch, do not hesitate to ask me
or to ask on debian-i18n.

The po-debconf(7) is indeed a great help.  Previously this was a black
art to me.  I'll give it a shot myself, and I'll ask you for help if I
