Package: yate Version: 0.8.7+cvs20050604-4 Severity: serious The yate package can't be built from source in unstable because the -dev package for libortp seems to be have changed its name gratuitously: yate build-depends on libortp2-dev, but only libortp4-dev is available.
I say that the name change seems to be gratutious, because the APIs exported by the two sets of headers don't seem to diverge very much. This package is almost certainly better off with a single libortp-dev package, instead of making the package name track an soname that has nothing to do with the exported API. But in any case, after updating the build-dependency to point to libortp4-dev, yate fails to build with the problem in bug #358131; so I can't confirm whether libortp2-dev and libortp4-dev are truly compatible. -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
