2006-05-16 Thread Bruno Boettcher
Package: imagemagic
Severity: normal

when trying to display an image i only get those error messages:

display: unable to load font
`-*-helvetica-medium-r-normal--12-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1'.

`-*-helvetica-medium-r-normal--12-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1'.

i installed it through aptitude, there were no other fonts packages

This doesn't seem to be a problem with imagemagick[0], but with the
changed font paths between xorg 6.9 and 7.0. Please see
http://bugs.debian.org/363371 for more information and possible
solutions.

Regards,

Daniel.

[0] Leaving the bugs against imagemagick open as this is a likely place
where affected users might look first.
