problem since it is what I got after pressing the save button, althought the

  You are right, it happens after I press the save button and before I
 get the progress window.

  No fam installed neither running. The files are located on my local
 reiserfs hard disks, although they belog to a svn repo.

I've not been able to reproduce your problem, which is not very 
surprising if it's a race condition problem, *but*:

your backtrace is useless in that form. please install qt-x11-free-dbg, 
kdelibs-dbg and kdebase-dbg, reproduce the bug, and resend the new 
backtrace. thanks. without that information the bugreport is sadly 
useless and will be closed.
