Bug#383633: middleclick copy/paste and regular copy does not work in gnome-terminal

2006-08-18 Thread Eddy Petrisor
Package: gnome-terminal
Version: 2.14.2-1
Severity: important

Hello,

I have discovered that on a fresh installation (done yesteday) the
middle click copy/pasting does not work. Selecting a string in the
terminal then middle clicking in another app (e.g.: firefox) results in
a paste from a previously selected string, not the one in the terminal.

Also, after selecting the string in the terminal, trying to use the Copy
command from the menu or context menu does not result in the string to
be stored in the clipboard, so there is no way to copy text from the
terminal, thus the severity.

Works here. Is this with firefox-gnome-support? Did you try in other
applications (e.g. Run: dialog, epiphany, gedit)?

   Bye,
