A few other packages already do that: http://qa.debian.org/[EMAIL PROTECTED] The advantages are those of the other Debian teams, for example bugs and upload notices are posted on the debian-multimedia lists, where they are more visible, and in case you can't follow the package for a while, the others developers can take care of it without doing an NMU. Sure. I would have done that. ;-) But I managed to forget my laptop's power adapter when leaving home. So now I'm without a tool to build stuff at the moment. Please, feel free to do the upload and change the Maintainer and Uploaders fields. A few other packages already do that: I very much support group maintenance of the multimedia packages. The problem is that I forgot to take my laptops power cord with me when I left. Now, I don't have access to a suitable building machine for ardour. It'd be great if you could do the upload, change the maintainer over to debian-multimedia and even add yourself to Uploaders. -- Robert.
