Just to make sure nobody forgets this bug, I can still reproduce this
same bug. (Stack trace has those
create_token_from_username/add_sid_to_array.)
Here is full system information.
The bug log here is pretty confusing. Do you have a very small
smb.conf that will show the problem in all cases?
The smb.conf is quite similar to sent here earlier by others, there is
nothing special in that, I think.
However I got a workaround: (I didn't change anything in smb.conf)
I stopped Samba
Then I moved all files in /var/log/samba to backup dir, except
passwd.tdb which I kept.
Then I started Samba and segfault/stack trace is gone, and it works
with 3.0.24-2.
