We've inherited this problem from linux-support-2.6.17-2. I've 
commited a fix to the local copy of gencontrol.py which will be
included in the next upload.

 _Max waldi: could you help me understand s390-tape? should modules 1) not 
build for/against s390-tape or 2) build for s390-tape but against s390 headers?

 _Max the one in 2.6.18-1 generated entries for s390-tape, iirc
