Hi, Looks like a missing semi-colon in the rules file; the variable isn't set and thus the list of linkers in ldd is set to nothing. This causes a strange errors, one of which showed up when yaird tries to make a ramdisk as discussed below. http://lists.debian.org/debian-ia64/2006/08/msg00034.html I just upgraded and got hit by it again, which made me look into it.
